‘Sup mah bammies?
The Film Jerks is another podcast that people haven’t kicked me off yet. The idea behind the show is that we all vote on one film currently streaming on Netflix and then discuss the film, ultimately judging whether it’s worth your time. We’ve looked at horror films, dramas, and cult cinema.
And now we look at POOTIE TANG. This unlikely spin-off film from THE CHRIS ROCK SHOW starred Rock, Lance Crauther, J.B. Smoove, Jennifer Coolidge, Wanda Sykes and was directed by Louis CK. It was also a bomb that became the butt of many jokes for years. But like so many films to experience this reaction, the film has developed a strong cult following over the years.
