For the last couple years, I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in Derrick Carey’s Astro Radio Z. In previous years, the show had a sporadic schedule and didn’t go weekly until earlier this year. The hosts have changed, the format has changed, it’s a continually evolving beast. One thing that hasn’t changed is how ARZ has consistently managed to bring something entertaining and interesting to the world of film discussion.

For this massive five-hour anniversary episode, host Derrick Carey started out delving into an in-depth interview with fellow filmmaker and former co-host Corey J. Udler. After that, Carey assembles a panel that includes Angelique Bone, Glenn Buettner, Daniel Edenfield, Mark “the Movieman” Krawczyk, Seth Poulin, Andrew Shearer and myself. Also look for a cameo from Rabid Child cohort Blade Braxton and other “surprise guests.”
