Whether we let our defenses down or not, the truth is that everyone has a favorite romantic movie – one that chips through the hard exterior and makes us feel warm and hopeful. It might not be your typical Hollywood romance, but among the thousands of films we all watch throughout our lives, there’s usually one or two that tug those heartstrings just right.
Shortly before the Valentine’s Day holiday, I got to take part in another episode of THE SPOILER ROOM. The topic – Our Favorite Romantic Movies. We had a great crew as usual for this, and the show definitely isn’t your typical love story discussion. Some of us brought indie films, cult items, Hollywood classics and even a couple big budget films that don’t get recognized for their romantic themes. Best of all, no Katherine Heigl in sight!
